Place Your Faith In Jesus
Parents must, by necessity, play a significant part in their children's education. They educate a youngster how to dress and wash themselves as well as toilet train them. They create rules and assist the youngster in comprehending them. They guide children through the academic world, imparting in them the principles of hard effort and honesty. They make themselves available to educate the distinction between real partnerships and passing acquaintances.
A mentoring parent, on the other hand, plays a distinct function. A parental mentor functions more like a consultant or adviser, constantly accessible for advice and direction, or as a confidante to contact when no one else is trustworthy or understanding. They provide less instruction and pay more attention. They enable youngsters to find things out for themselves rather than telling them. They prefer a "wait and see" technique over a "act now, consider later" one.
Man2Man, Mens’ Leadership Ministry
The purpose of the MAN2MAN Mens’ Leadership Ministry is to develop men into becoming passionate disciples for Christ. We are a collective of men, destined for the divine, linking arms to create a legacy of better leaders, grandfathers, fathers, sons, and husbands. Our desire is to move from just a Men’s Ministry, to a Ministry of Man “Two” Man.
This move will require a mindset and process change with a focus on leadership that begins from the very first day a man joins our church. So ask yourself, as a man "What does my leadership look like to my God, my family, my community, and my career?
"Ask yourself: Am I walking by faith or by sight in my leadership journey?"
Praying & Empowering Women (P.E.W.), Womens’ Leadership Ministry

Emphasis is also placed on supporting women through prayer, faith, and mentorship to find their inner strength and encouraging "WOMAN POWER in LEADERSHIP". It is strategically designed to touch, empower, include, involve, and encircle every woman.
Grief Mentoring may be made simpler with the assistance of a peer mentor; whether you are planning your own end of life or have lost a loved one, there is a Peer Mentor who can assist you.
A Peer Mentor assists persons who are bereaved. They will meet with you one-on-one to just listen or to explain things to you in a way that you can grasp. Grief Mentoring may help make a difficult time in one’s life a little bit easier.
Losing a loved one may make us feel isolated and as if the pain would never go away. Bereavement Mentoring allows you to communicate with a Peer Mentor who understands and supports you through your time of grief.
Sometimes the finest thing we can do for ourselves is plan ahead of time for our own death. Planning ahead of time can help us obtain the care we need when we are too sick to make sensible judgments. A Peer Mentor will guide you through the process of creating an Advanced Health Care Directive. Even if you are unable to speak for yourself, this plan will assist you in receiving the health care you desire towards the end of your life.
The Peer Mentor can work with you directly. In other FNRC-served counties, the Peer Mentor can lead a group in your region. The Peer Mentor will explain why end-of-life planning is vital to the group and then guide them through their own preparations.
